Andrew Smith

Andrew Smith has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Andrew started their career in 2007 as a Corporate Banking Intern at Royal Bank of Scotland. From 2009 to 2013, they worked as an Assurance Executive at Ernst & Young, gaining experience in auditing accounts prepared under IFRS and UK GAAP. In 2013, they joined BNP Paribas as a Fixed Income Operational Risk Analyst, where they focused on Credit products and applied the AMA approach to Basel II compliance. Andrew then worked at MarketInvoice from 2015 to 2017 as a Finance Manager, overseeing the company's finances and preparing management and statutory reporting. In 2017, they became the Group Financial Controller at Sequel Business Solutions Ltd, supporting the CFO during the company's sale and implementing new processes for financial reporting and cashflow forecasting. Andrew's most recent role is as the VP Finance at Currencycloud, which they started in October 2017.

Andrew Smith attended St George's School, Harpenden from 1998 to 2005. Andrew then studied Economics at the University of Nottingham from 2005 to 2008. Lastly, they pursued a degree in Accounting, specifically Chartered Accountant, at ICAS from 2009 to 2012.
