Rolly Bustos

Rolly Bustos has a long and successful history in the financial and investment industries. Rolly began their career in 1989 as the Owner/Manager of Bustos Management, where they owned and operated a rental residential business. Rolly grew the business from four duplexes to 36 suite complexes, running all aspects of the business from labour to contract negotiations to rental management. From 1995 to 2001, Bustos worked for Canada Trust in various roles, from Investments to Lending to Management, and acted as a Financial Services Officer. In this role, they outpaced sales of more senior staff, coached and mentored junior staff, and handled personal credit, account maintenance and investment solutions. From 2001 to 2004, Bustos worked as an Investment Advisor for Emerging Equities Inc. and from 2004 to 2007, they worked as an Investment Advisor for Global Maxfin Capital/Octagon Corp. From 2010 to 2018, they worked as an Investment Advisor for both Union Securities Ltd. and PI Financial Corp. In 2018, Bustos began working for MetaWorks Platforms as Head of Capital Markets/Corporate Development, where they are responsible for CurrencyWorks Inc. and their mission to redefine the transaction value chain for customer attraction, engagement and retention. Rolly also began working for Draganfly Inc. in 2018 as Head of Capital Markets/Investor Relations, where they are responsible for their cutting-edge drone solutions, software and AI systems.

Rolly Bustos obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of Calgary between 1992 and 1996. Rolly also obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Calgary with a focus in Geography (Physical and Human) and Business between 1996 and 1996. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) and Chief Compliance Officer Qualifying Exam (CCO).
