Bethany McCarty-Kirkman

Bethany McCarty-Kirkman currently serves as a Senior Associate in Science Communications at Current Global since September 2023. Prior to this role, McCarty-Kirkman worked as a Consultant at Russo Partners from January 2023 to September 2023 and completed a Public Relations internship. McCarty-Kirkman holds an AMWA Certificate from the American Medical Writers Association, earned between May 2022 and May 2023. Previous experience includes a Social Entrepreneurship internship at Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, where responsibilities involved summarizing literature data on hypertriglyceridemia and pancreatitis under Dr. Stacey Melquist. McCarty-Kirkman completed a Master of Science in Chemistry with a focus on life science communication at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2018 to 2023, following a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Arts in Language Studies- Spanish from Indiana State University, obtained from 2014 to 2018.
