Olivier Dalmas

Olivier Dalmas is a seasoned professional in protein sciences and antibody engineering, currently serving as Director of Protein Sciences at Merck since September 2024. Previously, Olivier held senior leadership positions, including Senior Director at AlivaMab Biologics and 3T Biosciences, where significant contributions included the development of bi-specific antibodies and overseeing antibody discovery efforts. At PACT Pharma, Olivier directed a team focused on personalized cancer immunotherapy and developed a high throughput platform for T-cell isolation. Prior experience includes roles at NGM Biopharmaceuticals and Genentech, focusing on membrane proteins and structural biology. Olivier's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 and research positions at the University of Chicago and IBCP, contributing to key studies on ion channels.
