Chris Kent

Chris Kent has a range of experience in the construction industry, specializing in quantity surveying and cost consultancy. Chris started their career in 1998 as a Senior Quantity Surveyor at Gardiner & Theobald LLP and continued in this role until 2004. From 2004 to 2021, Chris worked at AECOM as an Associate Quantity Surveyor, focusing on the Healthcare sector and major capital schemes. During this time, they gained extensive knowledge and expertise in the healthcare business case approval process and cost management of construction projects. In 2021, they joined Mace as an Operations Director in their Cost Consultancy division. Currently, Chris is the Director and Office Lead at Currie & Brown, overseeing their Exeter office. Overall, Chris has over 30 years of experience in the industry and has worked on various high-profile projects.

Chris Kent attended Abingdon School from 1983 to 1987. From 1990 to 1994, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Quantity Surveying at the University of the West of England.
