Colin Ingram is a Senior Research Fellow at Curtin University, engaged in an action research project with BHP focusing on cultural heritage management in the WA Goldfields. Currently, Colin serves as a Board Member for South Coast NRM and has been an active member of BirdLife Australia and the International Union for Conservation of Nature since 2018. Between January 2022 and November 2023, Colin held the position of Principal Project Officer at the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions, where an Aboriginal Engagement Action Plan was developed under Colin's authorship to enhance engagement with Aboriginal communities. Prior roles include Manager of Aboriginal Engagement, Planning and Lands, and committee memberships related to coastal management and water protection. Colin's academic background includes a PhM from Curtin University and a B Appl Sc from the University of Canberra, complemented by extensive experience in natural resource management and cultural heritage.
