Matt Jackson

Matt Jackson is a seasoned Mechanical Engineering professional with extensive experience in leading engineering activities across various organizations. Currently serving as Mechanical Engineering Lead at Curtis Instruments, Inc. since November 2019, Matt oversees the UK Engineering Centre, focusing on power electronics products for industrial and on-road electric vehicles. Prior to this role, Matt held the same title at BorgWarner Inc. from September 2016 to November 2019, managing similar projects for on-road electric and hybrid vehicles at the Gateshead Technical Centre. Before that, Matt was the Mechanical Design Manager at Sevcon from March 2004 to September 2016, leading mechanical engineering activities in product development for both industrial and on-road electric and hybrid vehicles. Matt began their career as a Product Design Engineer at PG Drives Technology, Ltd. from May 1998 to March 2004, specializing in industrial and mechanical design for electronic products. Matt holds a degree in Furniture Design from London Metropolitan University, earned in July 1989.
