Eugene Kazanov

Senior Support Engineer at Curvature

Eugene Kazanov has a diverse range of work experience spanning from 2003 to 2017. Eugene started their career as an SHF Engineer at Saturn, where they were responsible for configuring amplifiers and developing microwave frequency devices. Eugene then worked as a Hardware Engineer at Diona, assembling and configuring radio equipment, as well as inspecting systems for faults. After that, they joined Alternet as a Wi-Fi and Wi-MAX Networks Equipment Engineer, where they conducted coverage measurement, installation, and troubleshooting of Wi-MAX and Wi-Fi equipment.

Later, Eugene worked at SystemGroup Ltd as a Wireless Networks Engineer, overseeing site survey and design, installation, and support of wireless networks. Eugene then joined ZYB as an Outsourcing Engineer, providing support and consultancy for remote synchronization processes. Following that, they became a Wireless Equipment Engineer at Edimax, where they focused on configuring and maintaining Wi-Fi and wired network equipment.

Eugene then joined Simulation Systems LTD as a Systems Engineer, working on network support and configuration, small network design for CCTV applications, and customer support. After that, they worked as a UC Field Engineer at 2e2, specializing in unified communications.

From 2013 to 2017, Eugene worked at Telefónica UK as a Network Engineer, where they were responsible for implementing advanced network solutions, analyzing and resolving complex IT problems, and communicating with customers to provide technical solutions.

Most recently, Eugene joined Curvature as a Senior Support Engineer, where they are a security Subject Matter Expert for escalated incidents and plays a key role in resolving customers' incidents. Eugene also provides pre-sale support and expertise in compatibility and scalability aspects of products.

Eugene Kazanov obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Radio Engineering from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' in 2004. Eugene then pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Radio Engineering from the same university, completing it in 2006.

In terms of additional certifications, Eugene obtained the CCNA R&S certification from Cisco in April 2009. In May 2011, they acquired the CCNP R&S certification from Cisco, along with the JNCIA-JUNOS certification from Juniper Networks and the MCTS certification from Microsoft. In October 2011, they achieved the CCNA Security certification from Cisco, followed by the Cisco IOS Security Specialist and Cisco VPN Security Specialist certifications in October and November 2011, respectively. Eugene further expanded their certifications in 2012 by obtaining the CCIE R&S Written certification from Cisco.

In subsequent years, Eugene continued to enhance their knowledge and expertise by obtaining several more certifications. In May 2016, they became an Advanced Security Architecture System Engineer Representative certified by Cisco. In March 2017, they gained the F5 BIG-IP Administrator certification from F5 Networks, and in September 2017, they acquired the CCNP Security certification from Cisco.

Overall, Eugene Kazanov's educational background includes a BSc and MEng degree in Radio Engineering, obtained from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute'.
