Crisis Intervention Worker Curve Lake First Nation at Curve Lake First Nation

Lori Fournier is an experienced professional currently serving as a Crisis Intervention Worker and Band Representative at Curve Lake First Nation since July 2018, with additional roles as a Community Aboriginal Recreation Activator and in National Native Alcohol and Drug Addiction Prevention. Lori is the owner of Black Iris Wellness and BLACK OAK DOJO and Wellness Center, both established in 2022, and has operated a holistic health practice as a Certified Level 2 Reiki Practitioner since 2015. Additionally, Lori has been a SMART Recovery Facilitator since 2019 and has held various roles at Michaels Stores, Inc. and Orillia Native Women's Group. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Criminology/Policing from Wilfrid Laurier University, a diploma in Community and Justice Services from Georgian College, and a yoga certification from Amrita Living Yoga.
