Suhani Hans

Suhani Hans has a diverse range of work experiences. In 2023, they served as the Administrative Director - Presidential Portfolio for the Commerce Undergraduate Society of UBC Vancouver. From 2019 to present, they worked for Demos by Design as an Operations Manager, where they managed operations and served as a Brand Ambassador, promoting local organic food brands and educating consumers about their health benefits. In 2018, they founded Nextstr. Suhani also worked as a Team Member for Sauder JDC West in 2022, as a Social Media Manager for Lifestyle for Life Solutions Ltd. from February to May 2022, and as an Executive Assistant for Hunter Browns from August 2021 to February 2022. Suhani also volunteered as a Writer for the NWSS Student Press, served as the Executive Director of Finance for the NWSS BCSPCA Club, wrote for a student-led blog, and participated in a Tutoring & Mentorship Program with Glenbrook Middle School, all while attending New Westminster Secondary School. Suhani volunteered as a Video Creator and Editor for LaSalle College from June to August 2020 and as a Cyber-Senior Mentor for Cyber-Seniors: Connecting Generations from June to July 2020. Suhani was also selected to participate in the 2020 Ivey Business Case Competition.

Suhani Hans completed their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a specialization in Business and Entrepreneurship from UBC Sauder School of Business. Before that, they attended New Westminster Secondary School from 2017 to 2021, where they pursued the International Baccalaureate Certificate Program and French Immersion Double Dogwood. Additionally, they obtained the Foodservice Professional Certification (CFSP) from FoodSafe in 2019.
