Jon Thoresen

Jon Thoresen has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries. Jon is currently the Chief Commercial Officer at Custodiex, a position they have held since August 2022. Prior to this role, they were a Managing Partner at Custodiex starting from September 2020. From 2016 to 2020, they served as the Chief Investment Officer at Vatne Capital. Before that, Jon held the position of Senior Vice President at Danske Bank from 2012 to 2016 and at State Street from 2010 to 2012. Jon also worked as a Senior Vice President at Danske Bank from 2002 to 2010, where they held various roles including Head of Sales & Trading UK Branch, Deputy Manager London Branch, and Head of Norwegian Risk globally. Jon's career began at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in 1997, where they were a Vice President and a top-ranked market maker for Norwegian and Finnish derivatives. Jon also worked as a Senior Bond Trader at Chemical Bank and Norse Securities in the mid-1990s, and as a Derivatives Trader at Nordea in 1993.

Jon Thoresen has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management, General from Aalborg University, which was completed from 1989 to 1992. Jon then pursued a Master of Science degree in Shipping, Trade and Finance from City, University of London from 1992 to 1993. Additionally, Jon completed a Senior Management Course in Business Management at the London Business School in 2005.
