Katherine Short

Katherine Short has a strong background in human resources, with experience in various leadership roles. Katherine most recently served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Custom Helicopters Ltd. since May 2023. Prior to that, they were the Human Resources Director at Ndinawemaaganag Endaawaad Inc. from September 2021 to May 2023. Katherine also held positions as the Director of Human Resources at Manitoba Metis Federation from June 2019 to September 2021, and as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Metis Child and Family Services Authority from September 2016 to 2019. Katherine'searlier experience includes serving as a Human Resources Officer at The Metis Child and Family Services Authority from July 2015 to September 2016, and as a Human Resource Generalist at Boeing from September 2013 to June 2015.

Katherine Short's education history begins in 2002 when they attended Memorial University of Newfoundland and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History and English in 2006. Following that, in 2011, they pursued a Diploma in Business Administration at Red River College Polytechnic, finishing in 2012. Subsequently, from 2012 to 2013, Katherine attended the University of Winnipeg Professional and Applied Studies, where they obtained a Diploma in Human Resources Management and Services.
