David Flannery is an experienced project engineer at Custom Microwave, Inc. since September 2021, specializing in high-performance, passive antennas for space and ground applications. Prior experience includes roles as a non-student hourly research assistant and graduate student researcher at the University of North Texas from September 2016 to October 2021, focusing on additively manufactured parts with various alloys. David also worked at Principle Auto as a BMW/Mini Cooper valet in late 2015, a barista at Starbucks in early 2015, and served as a Naval Officer in the US Navy from May 2011 to October 2014 aboard the guided missile destroyer DDG-82 USS Lassen. David holds a Master of Science in Material Science and Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from the University of North Texas, along with a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the United States Naval Academy.
