Mamun Rashid

Mamun Rashid has extensive work experience in the field of site reliability engineering and cloud strategy. Mamun most recently worked as a Site Reliability Engineering Manager at Customer.io since January 2023. Prior to that, they held the same role at EZ Texting from December 2020 to January 2023. Mamun also worked as a Team Lead for Site Reliability Engineering at Arcules in 2020. Mamun has also worked in high-level positions at WarnerMedia and The Walt Disney Company as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer. In addition, Mamun served as a Senior Product Manager for Cloud Strategy at Oracle and as a Lead DevOps Consultant at The Walt Disney Company. Mamun began their career as a Senior Support Manager at Thomson Reuters in 2012.

Mamun Rashid's education history is as follows:

Mamun attended Comilla Cadet College from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained their HSC degree in the field of Science.

From 1990 to 1994, they studied at Midwestern State University and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Geology and Computer Science.

Mamun later pursued further education at Vanderbilt University from 1994 to 1996, where they acquired a Master of Science (MS) degree in Geophysics.

In addition to their formal education, Mamun Rashid has obtained several certifications. In 2002, they became an HP-UX Certified Systems Administrator from Hewlett-Packard. Mamun also obtained the CCNA certification from Cisco and the SCSA certification from Sun Microsystems in July 2004.

Afterwards, they focused on gaining expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS), achieving certifications such as AWS Certified Developer (Associate) in February 2017, AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate) in July 2017, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner in July 2018, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator (Associate) in May 2019, and AWS Security Specialty Certification in August 2019. Additionally, they obtained the Docker Certified Associate certification from Docker, Inc in November 2019, followed by the Hashicorp Certified Terraform Associate in March 2020.

Continuing their professional development, Mamun Rashid became a Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate (KCNA) certified by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) in August 2022. Mamun also holds the Certified Bitcoin Professional designation from the CryptoCurrency Certification Consortium (C4), attained in February 2022.

Most recently, they obtained two GitOps certifications: GitOps Certified for ARGO (Fundamentals) and GitOps Certified for Argo Level II (GitOps at Scale), both from Codefresh in January 2023.
