Andreea Iordan

Scientific Manager at CUTISS

Andreea Iordan has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. In 2001, they started their career at the Horia Hulubei National Institute of Physics and Nuclear Engineering, working in the Department of Life and Environmental Sciences. From 2004 to 2008, they worked at the Helmholtz-zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf's Institute of Ion Beam Physics and Materials Research.

In 2005, Andreea joined Université Grenoble Alpes in the Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire de Physique, where they conducted research on modeling biological problems related to cancer. Andreea analyzed the rheological properties of biological materials and focused on cell interactions in relation to the development of metastases.

From 2009 to 2011, Andreea worked at Boston University in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. Subsequently, they joined the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in the Department of Environmental Health from 2009 to 2011.

In 2013, Andreea worked at Université Paris-Dauphine, where they were involved in projects related to the management of technology and innovation. Andreea worked on a business plan for a serious game in the nuclear domain and a project called "Innovative Design" at SNCF Innovation & Research.

Starting in 2014, Andreea worked at Sanofi, contributing to a global project on Open Innovation. Andreea piloted crowdsourcing processes and created awareness around European public-private partnership models.

From 2015 to 2018, Andreea worked at Galderma Nestlé Skin Health, focusing on competitive and scientific intelligence.

In 2018, they joined Syneos Health (previously INC Research/inVentiv Health) as a Strategic Alliance Manager, where they were responsible for managing strategic alliances.

Most recently, in 2022, Andreea started working at CUTISS AG as a Scientific Manager.

Andreea Iordan completed their Ph.D. in Physics (Life Sciences) at Université Grenoble Alpes from 2005 to 2008. Following that, they pursued a Postdoctoral program in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health from 2009 to 2011. Most recently, they obtained a Master's Degree in Technology and Innovation Management from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL between 2013 and 2014.
