Paul Hughes

Paul Hughes has an extensive work experience spanning various industries. Paul began their career as a Management Accountant at Direct Group Limited, where they assisted in the production of financial accounts and managed ledger accounts. Paul then joined HBOS as a Reporting and Planning Accountant, managing a team to produce monthly financial accounts for the personal loans department. Paul later worked as a Commercial Management Accountant at Broker Assistance, overseeing financial accounts, forecasting, and budgeting. Paul then transitioned to roles at Auto Trader UK, starting as a Commercial Accountant and later becoming a Financial Controller, where they led a team and ensured accurate financial reporting. Paul then joined Alexander Dennis Limited as an Aftermarket Finance Business Partner and Head of Finance, handling financial transactions and reporting for the Aftermarket division. Most recently, they joined CVS Group Plc as the Head of Commercial and FP&A, responsible for commercial operations and financial planning and analysis.

Paul Hughes attended Staffordshire University from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a BA(Hons) degree in Business Studies. Prior to that, from 1991 to 1993, they attended Carmel College in St. Helens, Merseyside, but the degree and field of study are unknown.
