Sandra Leal is an accomplished leader in the pharmacy profession with extensive experience in advocacy, regulatory affairs, and health care innovation. Currently serving as Vice President of Pharmacy Advocacy & Regulatory Affairs at CVS Health, Sandra has previously held key roles including Vice President of Pharmacy Practice Innovation & Advocacy at CVS Pharmacy and Executive Vice President at both Tabula Rasa HealthCare and SinfoniaRx, where efforts focused on medication optimization and patient outcomes. Sandra was the 166th President of the American Pharmacists Association, solidifying leadership in the advancement of the pharmacy profession. With a strong educational background including a PharmD from the University of Colorado and a Master of Public Health from UMass Amherst, Sandra Leal's career reflects a commitment to improving health care delivery and patient care.
