Rachel Cloud Adams is an experienced editor with a strong background in child welfare and academic publications. Currently serving as the managing editor of Child Welfare at the Child Welfare League of America since December 2011, Rachel oversees a peer-reviewed journal and edits various educational materials, including a seasonal magazine and textbooks. Previously, Rachel held the position of managing editor at Heldref Publications/The World Affairs Institute, where responsibilities included managing the production of the journal Demokratizatsiya and the magazine Change, focusing on higher education. Earlier experience includes serving as assistant editor at the National Trust for Historic Preservation, contributing to its magazine and website. Rachel holds a Master of Arts in Writing from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, graduating cum laude from The Catholic University of America.
