Jim Shepherd

Jim Shepherd has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in corporate finance and strategy. Jim currently holds the position of EVP, Chief Financial Officer at CWT since July 2023. Prior to this, they served as SVP, Deputy Chief Financial Officer at CWT and held the title of Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance from April 2022 to April 2023. Before joining CWT, Jim worked at Medtronic as Vice President, Strategy & Transformation, Global Operations & Supply Chain from May 2016 to April 2022. Jim also worked at Deloitte Consulting - Strategy & Operations as a Mergers & Acquisitions Advisor from August 2011 to May 2016. Jim's earlier experience includes a role as M&A and Restructuring Director at Navigant Capital Advisors - Navigant Consulting from June 2003 to August 2011, and as a Senior Financial Consultant at IBM Business Consulting from January 2001 to June 2003.

Jim Shepherd has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance & Economics from Miami University. Jim also holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, with a focus in Analytical Finance, Management & Strategy, and Analytical Consulting. In addition, Jim has obtained certifications in Distressed Business Valuation and as a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor from the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors. Jim has also passed the Series 63, Series 7, and Series 79 exams administered by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
