Matteo Lucchetti is a seasoned professional in cybersecurity and cybercrime with extensive experience in various roles. Currently, Matteo serves as the Director of CYBER 4.0 - Cybersecurity Competence Center since April 2021. Additionally, Matteo holds a position on the Advisory Board of the Global Forum on Cyber Expertise (GFCE) until August 2024. Previous roles include Programme Manager for the Cybercrime Programme Office at the Council of Europe and a Research Officer at the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights. Matteo has also led initiatives in cybersecurity at Poste Italiane and managed significant research projects at ABI Lab. Earlier research work was conducted at ENEA, focusing on intelligent control systems. Matteo's academic credentials include a Master's Degree in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London, a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering, and a Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma.
