James T. Wright

James enlisted in the California Air National Guard and was stationed at March Joint Air Reserve Base in southern California where he trained in encryption and cryptography. Shortly after his enlistment, his unit was activated with the United States Air Force and he was deployed to the CENTCOM theatre as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He later returned for a second deployment during Operation Enduring Freedom.

Upon completion of his enlistment and obtaining his degree, James pursued his passion for information security within the defense contracting community with L3 Technologies, SRA, and General Dynamics Automated Information Systems. James advanced his security skills and technical certifications providing ingenuity to a variety of agencies, including the Department of Defense, Federal Aviation Administration, Department of Transportation, and Department of Education.

James intuitively knew the increasing pace of security threats required a focused, nimble security organization so he reunited with his friend and former L3 colleague as a CDT co-founder.

James holds a B.S. in Business Management and Administration with a concentration in International Business from the California State University, San Bernardino.
