James Mueller

James Mueller has a long and varied work experience. Starting in 2004, they worked as a Shift Lead at Blockbuster. James then moved to Subway and worked as a Store Manager from 2007 to 2007. In 2007, they began working at Eastern Propane & Oil, where they held the roles of IT Support Analyst, Customer Service Representative, and Emergency Service Representative. In 2015, they began working at the University of Massachusetts Lowell as an IT Support Specialist. From 2017 to 2022, they worked at VMware Carbon Black, where they held the roles of Senior Information Systems Engineer, Senior Virtualization Engineer, and Virtualization Engineer. In 2022, they began working at Commure as a Senior Security Engineer and at CyberFortress as a Senior Systems Engineer - Veeam. Additionally, they have been a VMUG Leader at VMware User Group since 2016.

James Mueller obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Southern New Hampshire University in 2016. Since then, they have obtained multiple certifications, including the Okta Certified Professional in 2022, the Professional Scrum Master I in 2021, the VMware Certified Implementation Expert - Data Center Virtualization 2020 and the VMware Certified Advanced Professional - Data Center Virtualization Deployment 2020 in 2020, the VMware Certified Advanced Professional - Data Center Virtualization Deploy 2019 and the VMware Certified Implementation Expert - Data Center Virtualization 2018 in 2019, the VMware Certified Advanced Professional 6.5 - Data Center Virtualization Design in 2018, the Certified ScrumMaster and the Certified Scrum Product Owner in 2018, the VMware Certified Professional 6.5 - Data Center Virtualization in 2018, the CompTIA Security+ ce in 2016, and the VMware Certified Professional 6 - Data Center Virtualization in 2017.
