Dick Johnson

Dick Johnson has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Dick began their career at DEK in 2001, where they served as a Software Manager until 2004. In this role, they oversaw a team of 30 engineers and was responsible for their professional development. Johnson then held the position of Development Manager from 2004 to 2010, leading product development teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products. Dick also played a vital role in communicating technology roadmaps and supporting global sales team communications. From 2010 to 2013, Johnson served as a Product Group Manager at DEK, where they led a team of three Regional Product Managers across different market sectors. In 2013, Johnson joined CyberOptics as an Engineering Director.

Dick Johnson attended Weymouth Grammar School from 1977 to 1984. Dick did not obtain a degree or pursue a specific field of study during this time. Later, from 1986 to 1990, they enrolled at Bournemouth University, where they earned a Higher National Certificate/Diploma (HNC/HND) in Science with a focus on Physics.
