Rubén T.

Rubén T. has a diverse work experience in the field of cyber security. Rubén currently serves as the Head of Cyber Security Operations at CyberProof, where they focus on improving and transforming the Security Operations Center (SOC). Their responsibilities include strengthening incident response, managing vulnerabilities, promoting security engineering, and coordinating with other teams. Rubén also works on improving processes and procedures with a results-oriented approach while leading a talented team of professionals. Prior to their current role, Rubén was a Senior Cyber Security Analyst at UST from March 2021 to October 2022. Before that, they worked as a Security Analyst & IT System Administrator at Gestiò Integral Sanitària i Assistencial for ten years, specializing in IDS, EDR, WAF, Fortinet, PaloAlto, Vmware, Cisco, and networking. Rubén began their career as a Técnico informático at Grup SAGESSA from May 2009 to April 2011.

Rubén T. is currently pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering (Grado en Ingeniería) from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications including Certified Ethical Hacker from EC-Council, Contención y análisis forense pericial tras un ciberincidente from EICYC | Escuela Intern. Criminología y Criminalística, System Operations on AWS and Architecting on AWS from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Akamai Kona Site Defender from Akamai Technologies, Vmware Certified Professional 6.5 - Data Center Virtualization (VCP6.5-DCV) from VMware, MCSA from Microsoft, and Cisco CCNP from Cisco Networking Academy.
