Solomon Sparling

Solomon Sparling's work experience includes roles at various companies. Solomon started their career at Salem Property Care as a Team Leader and Business Analyst in 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at Destin Love Shack LLC as a Project Manager, where they managed cash flows, obtained licenses, and oversaw employees in the tourism industry. In 2019, they joined MPW Industrial Services as an Area Sales Manager. In 2021, they transitioned to GEICO, first as an Actuarial Analyst applying statistics to real-world scenarios, and later as a Research and Development Analyst II, where they focused on developing fully automated Python programs using machine learning techniques. Currently, they are working as a DevOps Engineer II at Cybersafe Solutions, utilizing Python to abstract processes and create flexible APIs in an asynchronous, multiplatform environment.

Solomon Sparling obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Pure Mathematics from The Ohio State University between 2011 and 2014. Solomon then pursued Actuarial Science at the Casualty Actuary Society from 2018 to 2025. In addition to their formal education, Solomon obtained certifications in Python (Basic) from HackerRank in March 2022 and in dbt Fundamentals from dbt Labs in February 2022.
