Jeffrey Barbieri

Jeffrey Barbieri has a diverse work experience in the field of information security. Jeffrey started their career as a Network/System Administrator at Metem Corporation, where they provided internal support and troubleshooting for staff members. Jeffrey then worked as a Security Consultant and Sales Engineer at Atrion, covering accounts for various security companies. Jeffrey also served as the Director of Technical Accounts at BlackStratus, where they designed and implemented security solutions for customers, managed a team of technical account managers, and assisted the sales team with new opportunities. Recently, they joined Bank of America as an Information Security Specialist. Throughout their career, Jeffrey has also been involved in speaking engagements and radio programs, where they share their expertise on computer security.

Jeffrey Barbieri attended the Institute of Information Security from 2011 to 2014, where they studied Computer Forensic. In 1993 and 1994, they attended the Chubb Institute Of Technology and obtained a degree in Mainframe Programmer with a field of study in Computer Operations. Jeffrey also pursued a degree in Computer Forensics with a focus on Cyber/Computer Forensics and Counterterrorism at the Institute of Information Security. Additionally, they studied Private Investigation at Penn Foster. Jeffrey has obtained numerous certifications, including Junior Systems Engineer from FireEye, Inc., NetWitness from RSA, and Attackers with Threat Intelligence from Tripwire. Jeffrey has also gained certifications in various areas of cybersecurity and network management, such as Advanced Cyber Defense, Anatomy of an Attack Certification, and Juniper Vision from Juniper Networks.
