Qasim Shamim

Qasim Shamim's work experience includes various roles in different companies. In 2014, they started working as an A-Levels and IBDP Economics and Business Studies Teacher at Headstart School. From 2018 to 2020, Qasim worked as a Guidance Counselor at Super Nova Education System and as a Research Intern at The Center for Education Design, Evaluation and Research (CEDER). Qasim also served as a Graduate Student Instructor in Principles of Microeconomics at the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts. In 2020, Qasim became an A-Levels Economics Teacher at The City School Official and a Business Development Manager at Noon Academy. From 2021 to 2022, they worked as an Ops and Growth Lead at Mega Lecture. In 2022, Qasim co-founded EdFry and became the Chief Operating Officer at CyberSoft Vantage - CSV.

Qasim Shamim completed their education in a chronological order. Qasim began their education at Saint Mary's Academy in Rawalpindi, where they obtained their O-Levels degree in Natural Sciences in 2008. Qasim then proceeded to earn a High School Diploma in Business/Commerce from the same school, graduating in 2010.

Following this, Qasim attended Lahore University of Management Sciences, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics from 2010 to 2014. After completing their undergraduate studies, they furthered their education at the University of Michigan, where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Educational Leadership and Policy in 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Qasim Shamim also obtained several certifications. Qasim completed the IBDP Economics Category 1 Training by the International Baccalaureate in December 2016. In November 2018, they received another certification as an IBDP Examiner in Economics from the same institution.

Qasim also enrolled in a series of online courses offered by Michigan Online. In March 2020, they completed certifications in Decision Criteria & Applications, Bonds & Stocks, Risk, Return & Valuation, Time Value of Money, and Foundational Finance for Strategic Decision Making Specialization. In May 2020, they obtained certifications in Accounting for Decision Making and The Science of Success: What Researchers Know that You Should Know, both from Michigan Online.
