Sankha Ghosh

Sankha Ghosh has held a number of roles in the Geo-Spatial technology industry since 2008. Sankha began their career at IL&FS Ecosmart Ltd. as a GIS Analyst, where they interfaced with project leads and clients for requirement gathering and technical specifications. In 2013, they started working as a Business Development Manager at SPAGEO TECHNOLOGIES PVT LIMITED, where they were responsible for technical proposal writing, bid documents preparation and pricing, project definition and scope, DPR, RFP and POC preparation, and interacting with clients to understand requirements and cost estimates. Sankha also took on a freelance role at Maptech System as a Sales Associate, where they were responsible for sales and business development of IT solutions and products, preparing sales, and executing marketing plans. In 2014, they began working at GIS Consortium India Private Limited as a Sales Associate, where they managed the bidding and marketing activities, responding to tender/RFP/PQQ and writing proposals and technical documents. Since 2015, they have been working at CyberSWIFT as an SBU Manager - National Business Development, where they are responsible for interpretation, prediction, and evaluation of Geo-Spatial technology requirements, as well as handling business activities for GIS/Remote Sensing/IT services.

Sankha Ghosh began their education in 2001, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Geography from Visva-Bharati. Sankha then continued their studies, earning a Masters Degree in Geography from Visva Bharati, Shantiniketan in 2004-2006. In 2007-2008, they attended Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg and earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Geo-Informatics (UNIGIS Professional Diploma). Finally, they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Marketing from the Indian School of Business and Economy in 2011-2013.
