Rakesh R.

Rakesh R. has extensive work experience in the field of information technology and data analytics. Rakesh started their career in 2002 as a Professional Freelancer, specializing in project implementation for HP Singapore and working with various clients such as Novartis, United Overseas Bank, and ICICI Bank. From 2004 to 2007, they served as a Senior Technical Consultant at Teradata, where they utilized their expertise in data analytics.

In 2007, Rakesh joined SAS India as a Technical Architect, contributing to architectural design and technical solutions. Rakesh then moved to EMC in 2008, taking on the role of Presales Head for Greenplum. During their tenure, they executed proof-of-concepts, engaged with partners and customers, and showcased product demos with a customer-centric approach.

From 2011 to 2012, Rakesh served as a Presales Manager for APAC at HP, specializing in Vertica delivery and presales. Rakesh showcased proficiency in proposal preparation, partner interaction, and delivering presentations to clients in the APAC region.

Continuing their journey in the field of big data and analytics, Rakesh worked for Oracle from 2012 to 2015. Rakesh held the position of Big Data and Analytics Specialist, mentoring customers, preparing sales collateral, and providing sales and presales enablement for big data solutions.

In 2015, Rakesh took on the role of Sales Engineer at Architect, where they utilized their technical expertise in sales and engineering.

Their most recent position was at CyberTech Systems and Software, Inc., where they held multiple roles. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Cloud Solution Architect, contributing to data modeling and cloud architecture for various applications. Then, from 2019 to 2020, they served as an Analytics Solution Architect, focusing on strategy and consulting. Their responsibilities included assessing applications, databases, and data migration to SAP Hana Cloud. Lastly, from 2020 onwards, Rakesh held the position of Associate Director, specializing in SAP Hana Cloud, Cloud Foundry, and SAP ecosystem consulting.

Throughout their career, Rakesh has demonstrated expertise in technologies such as SAP, Hadoop, Spark, MapReduce, and various analytics solutions. Rakesh has consistently shown a customer-centric approach, delivering solutions on or before time and providing training and enablement to sales teams and customers.

Rakesh R. completed their secondary education, XII, in the field of science at Poddar from 1995 to 1997. In terms of further education, they pursued an Advanced Certificate in Digital Marketing and Communications at MICA | The School of Ideas from 2022 to 2023. In the same period, they also enrolled in the Professional Numerology Certificate Program at Instituttet for Numerologi. Moving forward, Rakesh plans to join XLRI Jamshedpur to undertake the CXO Programme from 2023 to 2024.

Throughout their career, Rakesh has obtained several additional certifications. In 2015, they became a Cloudera Certified Developer for Apache Hadoop and a Data Scientist. Rakesh also completed a course in Big Data and Hadoop from Edureka in 2015. In previous years, Rakesh acquired certifications in Hadoop, MongoDB, Greenplum, SAS Prog1 and Prog2, TeradataV2 Master Certified, and Informatica 8.
