Brandon Karpf

Brandon Karpf has a diverse work experience, starting with the US Navy as a Cryptologic Warfare Officer and later holding roles such as Shipyard Program Manager and Head of Information Warfare and Security Manager. Brandon also worked as a Cyber Security Consultant for KNC Strategic Services and was a Co-Founder of a Failed Startup called Bombadil. Brandon has also taught as an Adjunct Professor at the United States Naval Academy and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Currently, they hold positions at N2K, CyberWire Daily, N2K Space, The YWCA of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County, and the United States Naval Academy.

Brandon Karpf holds a Bachelor of Science in Robotics and Controls Engineering from the United States Naval Academy. Brandon also completed a Master of Science in Technology and Policy (Computer Science) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an Executive MBA from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, and a Wilderness Leadership certification from NOLS. Brandon attended The Lawrenceville School for their secondary education. Additionally, Brandon has obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2020 and 2021, respectively.
