Alex Kelman

Alex Kelman is the Senior Director of Training at EMBARK, a position they have held since 2019. Prior to that, they were with Canopie for two years. Before that, they worked at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior for four years. Alex also worked at the University of California, Los Angeles for two years. From September 2016 to August 2018, they were a Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Postdoctoral Fellow. From August 2015 to July 2016, they were a Doctoral Psychology Intern. From January 2007 to December 2009, they were an Assistant to the CFO and CIO at The Atlantic. Alex began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Virginia from January 2005 to December 2006.

Alex Kelman's educational career includes a Bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia in Psychology and Philosophy, a Masters in Psychology (MS) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Palo Alto University in Clinical Psychology, and a Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Psychology from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. Alex Kelman is also certified from the University of California, Los Angeles in University of California Management Development Program and from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSAgov), HHS in University of Southern California at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles LEND Fellowship.
