Marcelo Gutierrez

Marcelo Gutierrez currently serves as the VP and Head of Clinical Pharmacology at Cybin Inc since September 2024. Prior to this role, Marcelo held the position of Head of Clinical Pharmacology, DMPK, and Bioanalytics at Amylyx Pharmaceuticals from September 2021 to August 2024. Marcelo's experience includes leadership roles at the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research as Head of Global Scientific Development and Director of Global Health from April 2012 to May 2018, and as Senior Director of Clinical Pharmacology at Actelion from 2008 to March 2012. Earlier in the career, Marcelo was the Director of Clinical Pharmacology and Drug Dynamics at Forest Research Institute from 1994 to 2004. Marcelo earned a degree in Bioengineering and Therapeutic Sciences, specializing in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of California, San Francisco.
