Meredith Riggs

Meredith Riggs is an experienced Ontologist at Cycorp since September 2021, responsible for leading efforts in Natural Language Generation and developing logical representations for various applications, including robotics and healthcare. Previously, as a Graduate Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, Meredith co-authored a computational pragmatics system and conducted research on social support's impact during the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier roles include contributing to machine translation research at the UT Computational Linguistics Lab and leading a machine learning project at CognitiveScale. Additionally, Meredith has a background in community leadership with Google Fiber and social media analytics at HeartWater. Holding a Master’s degree in Language Technologies from Carnegie Mellon University and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Linguistics from the University of Texas at Austin, Meredith has demonstrated a strong commitment to the intersection of technology and language.
