Charles McLachlan

Charles McLachlan has worked in various roles from 2000 to 2021. Charles began their career as a Member of Technical Staff at AT&T Laboratories Cambridge in 2000. In 2007, they moved to Metropolis Data Consultants Ltd. as a Principal Scientist. Charles then went on to work as a Developer for Saxon Cambridge Algorithmic Research Limited in 2009, Illumina in 2010, and Cadence Design Systems in 2012. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Undo Software. Charles then moved to CMR Surgical as a Staff Software Engineer in 2017 before joining Xilinx as a Senior Staff Engineer in 2019. Most recently, they have been working as a Computer Vision Engineer at Cydar Medical since 2021.

Charles McLachlan attended King Edward's School Birmingham from 1988 to 1994. Charles then attended Queens' College, Cambridge from 1995 to 2007, where they earned an MA, MSci, and PhD in Physics and Bayesian Inference.
