Emma Walters has 14 years of experience in the field of Learning and Development. Emma began their career in 1993 as the Head of HR and Training, Healthcare Services at Alliance Boots. In 2000, they joined Gilead Sciences as the Learning and Development Director and HR Director. In 2009, they became a Learning and Development Consultant at Emma Walters. In 2013, they took on the role of People and Culture Lead at Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute. In 2019, they completed the Mastering The Coach Approach Training at International Teaching Seminars, and in 2020 they completed the NLP Practitioner Programme at International Teaching Seminars. Currently, they are the Head of People at Cydar Medical.
Emma Walters attended The University of Huddersfield from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a Batchelor of Arts. Emma then attended Nottingham Trent University from 1994 to 1996, where they earned a Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development. From 2006 to 2007, they attended Hult Ashridge, where they studied Change Consulting in Organisations. In 2009, they attended PPD Learning for the NLP Master Practitioner Programme. Lastly, they are currently attending University of Cambridge for Inclusive Leadership, which they began in 2022.
