We are looking for an exceptional Senior Backend Developer to join our R&D team and reach the next level. In this position you will:

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of microservices tailored for processing high volumes of network communication data.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers to architect distributed & scalable data processing solutions that backbone our Rail Tech Security Platform, CylusOne.
• Collaborate with the brightest network researchers to productize our cybersecurity threat detection & network analysis features.
• Apply advanced software engineering principles to optimize code performance, scalability, and resource utilization across microservices & algorithms.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in R&D, identifying opportunities to enhance our code, methodologies, quality and technologies.

About you:

• At least 7 years of proven experience in software engineering, specifically in building and maintaining scalable & complex software systems.
• Deep understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices, both architectural and algorithmic.
• Significant ownership skills that help you drive collaboration with stakeholders to advance our mission and business goals.
• Eager to learn and think outside the box to find accessible solutions to complex problems.
