Elizabeth Nelis

Elizabeth Nelis has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Elizabeth started their career as an intern at Johnson Controls in 2011. From there, they transitioned to Dematic Mobile Automation in 2012, where they worked as an Electrical Engineer until 2019. In 2019, they joined NOVI Energy as a Senior Project Engineer, holding the position until 2021. Elizabeth then moved on to Phantom Auto and served as the Manager of Safety and Electrical Engineering until early 2023. Currently, they are employed as the Head of Safety at Cyngn.

Elizabeth Nelis attended Hope College from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and Mathematics. In addition to their degree, they also obtained two certifications: an Executive Leadership Certificate from Cornell University in October 2022 and a Performance Leadership Certificate from Cornell University in September 2022.
