Marcelo Ortega has diverse work experience in the field of IT. Marcelo started their career at LAPTOWN as a General Manager and Laboratory Leader. Marcelo then worked at Softtek as a Security Auditor, where they audited processes and implemented information security measures. At PepsiCo, Marcelo served as an SCCM Administrator, responsible for software updates and deployment. Marcelo later joined UDEM as a Citrix Administrator, providing L2 support for Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp farms. Marcelo also worked at TOPCARE MEDICAL SERVICES LTD as a Server Administrator, handling IT support and troubleshooting for Clinicas MiDoctor. Marcelo further enhanced their skills at Nissan Motor Corporation as a Network and Server Administrator. Their recent experiences include the role of Assistant Systems Manager at Viking Cruises and currently, as an IT Support Specialist at CYPHER LEARNING.
Marcelo Ortega attended Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a degree in Information Technology (ISC). In addition to their formal education, Marcelo has also obtained several certifications. Marcelo was awarded the CompTIA Network+ certification from CompTIA in June 2020 and the CompTIA Server+ certification in April 2019. In March 2016, they received the Citrix Certified Sales Professional certification from Citrix. Furthermore, Marcelo obtained the STCW/2010 certification from CEDEMAR in December 2017.
