Jean Evangelista

Jean Evangelista is an experienced software engineer with a focus on web development. Most recently, they worked at Cyral as a software engineer. Prior to that, they were employed at act digital in the same role. In 2022, they worked as a researcher at Compilers Lab, where they studied the implementation of lookups in small maps on BEAM, the Erlang/Elixir's virtual machine, and discovered a bug in the Erlang compiler. Jean has also held software engineer positions at Seeds Consulting AS, Equalizar Soluções Empresariais, and Radix Engenharia e Software. In 2019, they had an internship at Taylor Sistemas, where they contributed to the development of the GIDEF system. Jean'sfirst internship was at Fac Sistemas in 2017, where they worked on web development using JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL. Jean has experience working with various technologies, including Angular, .NET Framework, and Vue.

Jean Evangelista has a diverse education history. From 2014 to 2014, they attended SENAI and obtained an industrial apprenticeship in Computer Network Installation and Repair. Following that, from 2015 to 2017, Jean attended Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de Minas Gerais, where they received a degree in Computer Science as a Computer Technician. During this time, they focused on studying and gaining knowledge in this field.

In 2016 and 2017, Jean also worked as a Junior Researcher at the same institution, Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de Minas Gerais, specializing in Mathematics and Computer Science.

More recently, from 2018 to 2022, Jean pursued higher education at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems. This degree allowed him to gain a deeper understanding of information systems and their applications.

To further enhance their skill set, Jean also obtained a certification in English. In July 2021, they successfully completed the EF SET English Certificate, obtaining a score of 67/100 (C1 Advanced), from EF Standard English Test (EF SET) institution.
