Hands-on Security Automation Team Leader at Cyrebro

Nitzan Shwartz has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. They began their career at the Israel Defense Forces as a combat soldier, where they learned important teamwork skills and dealt with challenging situations. After completing their military service, Nitzan joined Cyber Way Information Security as a Cyber Security Analyst, where they operated the company's SOC, conducted simulated exploitations, and updated the rule database. They later transitioned to the role of Python Developer & Cyber Security Analyst, taking part in the development of the company's new product and working with cloud technology and big data analysis. Nitzan then moved on to CYREBRO, where they initially worked as a SecOps Engineer, managing and maintaining the SIEM system. They later became a Senior Security Automation Developer, taking the lead in technical aspects of the team. Their responsibilities included various security automation tasks.

Nitzan Shwartz's education history begins in 2014, when they attended Makif Vav High School. During their time there, they studied Systems Design and Development. After completing high school in 2017, Nitzan pursued further education and joined the IDF's Teleprocessing Corps in 2020. They obtained a degree in Cyber Security Practitioner (CSP) during their time in the IDF.

In addition to their formal education, Nitzan has also obtained several certifications. In 2021, they became a Swimlane Certified SOAR Developer. They also earned the title of Cyber Security Practitioner from the Israel National Cyber Directorate in January 2021. Nitzan further enhanced their skills by completing the edX Verified Certificate for CS50's Introduction to Computer Science and the CS50x course offered by HarvardX in April 2022. Lastly, in April 2023, they obtained the certification for Python Object Oriented Programming (OOP): Beginner to Pro from Udemy.
