Pauline Surrel

Director, Global Head, Clinical Data Management at Cytel

Pauline Surrel has a strong background in clinical data management and clinical trial project management. Pauline started their career as a Clinical Research Associate at the Investigational Clinical Center in 2006. Pauline later worked as a Clinical Research Associate at the Oncology Hospital of Val d'Aurelle in 2007. Pauline then completed an internship as a Clinical Trial Project Manager at Servier. Pauline joined Merck Serono in 2008 as a Clinical Data Manager and worked there until 2012. Following that, they worked as a Data Manager at Shire Pharmaceuticals from 2012 to 2014. Pauline then joined Cytel, where they held multiple roles, including Senior Data Manager, Project Manager, and Associate Director of Clinical Data Management, before becoming the Director of Global Head of Clinical Data Management in May 2019.

Pauline Surrel pursued their education in the field of biomedical sciences. In 2005, they attended Edinburgh Napier University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences. Pauline then continued their studies at the University of Montpellier, where they completed their Master's degree in Clinical Development & Monitoring in 2007. Pauline'seducation at the University of Montpellier continued the following year, and they obtained a Master's 2 degree in Data Management and Project Management in 2008.
