Shamshad Ali

Shamshad Ali has worked as an Associate Director of Biostatistics at Cytel since April 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Biostatistician at IQVIA Biotech from August 2019 to May 2021 and at PAREXEL International Inc. from August 2016 to July 2019. Shamshad also worked as a Biostatistician at GOG (NRG) Statistical and Data Center from April 2004 to August 2016. Additionally, they served as a Graduate Teaching Fellow/Lecturer at the University of Florida from August 2001 to April 2004 and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant/Adjunct Faculty - Mathematics at Wayne State University from January 1998 to July 2001.

Shamshad Ali completed a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Biochemistry from the University of Toronto from 1982 to 1985. Later, from 1997 to 2001, Shamshad pursued a Master's degree in Mathematical Statistics and Probability at Wayne State University. Continuing their academic journey, they obtained another Master's degree, this time in Statistics, from the University of Florida, from 2001 to 2003.
