Venkitachalam Chandran

Venkitachalam Chandran has over 40 years of work experience in various leadership roles. Venkitachalam started their career as a Project Manager at ORG Systems in 1978, where they worked until 1985. Venkitachalam then joined Applied Software Pvt. Ltd. as an Executive Director from 1985 to 2000. After that, they worked as a GM Technical at Indusa Infotech from 2000 to 2002. Venkitachalam then held the position of VP Operations at both Cytel and Cytel Statistical Software & Services from 2002 to present.

Venkitachalam Chandran obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical Engineering from the College of Engineering Trivandrum, where they studied from 1971 to 1975. Venkitachalam later pursued a Master of Engineering (ME) degree in Aerospace Engineering, Automation, and Computer simulations from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) from 1975 to 1977.

In addition to their formal education, Chandran has obtained several certifications in the field of technology. Venkitachalam became a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCPS) in April 2012. In May 2011, they obtained a certification in SQL Server 2008, Implementation and Maintenance as a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS). In October 2010, they also achieved a certification in SQL Server 2005 from Microsoft.
