Derek O'Sullivan

Derek O'Sullivan has a significant work history in human resources, with a focus on leadership roles across various companies in the healthcare and finance sectors. Derek started their career as an HR Information Specialist at Graphite HRM in 2001. From there, they went on to work for Ibec as an IR/HR Executive before joining GECAS as the VP of Human Resources for Finance and Enabling Functions. Derek then served as the HR Manager for GE Capital EMEA - UK, followed by roles as a Senior HR Manager and Senior HR Leader at GE Healthcare. Derek later became an HR Director at Stryker and an HR Leader at GE Healthcare before joining Cytiva as the Vice President of Human Resources. In 2021, Derek took on the additional role of Vice President of Human Resources for the Biotechnology Group, encompassing Cytiva and Pall Life Sciences.

Derek O'Sullivan attended the University of Limerick from 1998 to 2001, earning a Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) degree in Personnel. Derek later pursued a Master's degree in Work and Organisation Psychology at the same university from 2007 to 2009.
