Ivone Bruno

Ivone Bruno, PhD, currently serves as the VP of Preclinical Affairs at CytoImmune Therapeutics since May 2022. Previously, Ivone held key roles including Senior Director of Preclinical and CMC at Invectys, and Manager and Principal Scientist in Cell and Gene Therapy at Lonza, where responsibilities encompassed managing teams, leading scientific investigations, and optimizing tests for product critical attributes. Ivone's extensive background includes directing cell therapy manufacturing at Houston Methodist, overseeing Clinical RNA Therapeutic Core activities, and serving as Process Development Senior Scientist at Bellicum Pharmaceuticals. With substantial experience in regenerative cell research and postdoctoral research at prestigious institutions, Ivone has contributed significantly to the fields of neurodevelopmental disorders and immunotherapy. Educational qualifications include multiple PhDs and a Master's degree in Biology/Microbiology.
