Renita Chanderballi has worked in various roles related to food safety and quality assurance. Renita started their career in 2013 at Banks DIH as a Quality Assurance intern in the Brewery Laboratory. In 2015, they interned as a Food Microbiologist at Edward B. Beharry & Company Ltd in Guyana. Renita then became a Food Safety Scientist at the National Institute of Applied Science and Technology in 2017. Since 2018, they have been working at CZ, first as an Ingredients Food Safety Specialist and currently as the Head Of FIP Quality for Food Ingredients And Packaging.

Renita Chanderballi earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Biological Sciences from the University of Guyana in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Science in Natural Sciences from Queen's College in 2012. In 2018, Renita completed their Master of Science in Food Science and Technology from the University of Leeds. Additionally, they hold certifications in HACCP Level 3 from Percipio Training Ltd and Food Allergy Training from the Food Standards Agency. Renita also has a UNASUR Certification from the Union of South American Nations.
