Jan Weisser

Jan Weisser has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jan is currently the Head of Portfolio at CZECH NEWS CENTER a.s. since May 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Co Author & Trainer at Social Selling po Cesku, where they focused on using social networks like LinkedIn and Twitter for client acquisition. Jan also worked as a Business Development Manager at Persoo.cz, where they analyzed and innovated products, developed sales plans, and generated leads. Jan's experience also includes working as a Technical Consultant at Clever Monitor, assisting with software implementation and providing customer support. Jan has also held positions at \u010cesk\u00e1 tiskov\u00e1 kancel\u00e1\u0159 (\u010cTK) as a Spokesman and Account Manager, and at AIESEC, where they served as a Business Development Manager and Local Committee President. Jan's early work experience includes a traineeship at the European Parliament and a role at the Balcova Municipality Izmir in the Department of the European Union and foreign affairs in 2010.

Jan Weisser received their Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Hradec Králové, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. In 2009 to 2010, they also attended Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt for further studies in Sociology. Prior to their university education, Jan attended První soukromé jazykové gymnázium v Hradci Králové from the years 2000 to 2008, where they focused on Live language studies. Additionally, Jan has a certification in City and Guilds B2 from IESOL/ISESOL.
