Justin Jones

Justin Jones has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Justin started their career as a Student Technician at the University of Providence in 2009 and worked until 2010. Justin then joined D.A. Davidson Companies in 2010, where they held multiple roles. Justin began as a Technical Writer and later became an Information Technology Project Coordinator. From 2011 to 2014, Justin worked as a System Administrator. Justin then transitioned to the role of Associate Vice President, Business Continuity Manager, where they worked until 2017. Finally, they served as the Vice President of Information Technology Risk Management at D.A. Davidson Companies, starting in November 2017.

Justin Jones began their education at the University of Providence, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science between 2007 and 2010. Justin later pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance at Dakota State University, completing their studies from 2013 to 2015.

In terms of certifications, Justin has obtained numerous credentials in the field of information security. In July 2011, they became a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) through the EC-Council. Subsequently, in August 2015, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification from ISACA. Later that same year, Justin achieved the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) credential from (ISC)². In August 2016, they obtained the Certified In Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) certification, also from ISACA. Their certifications continued in March 2017 with the completion of the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification, also through ISACA. Most recently, in August 2021, Justin obtained the Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) certification from (ISC)².
