Madeleine Sach

Madeleine Sach is a Corporate Development Associate at The D. E. Shaw Group, where employment began in September 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Quantitative Politics Intern at Medley Global Advisors and an Investment Associate Intern at Bridgewater Associates, both in early 2020. Madeleine also served as a Politics Data Reporting Intern at FiveThirtyEight, contributing significantly to the 2020 election coverage through original analysis and article publishing. Previous internships include working as a Legislative Intern for US Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, where responsibilities involved constituent communication and legislative memo writing, and as a Sleepaway Camp Counselor at YMCA Camp Chingachgook, progressing from a Counselor in Training to Head Counselor. Madeleine holds a Bachelor's degree in Chinese and Quantitative Social Science from Dartmouth College, attended from 2017 to 2021, and graduated from Mamaroneck High School in 2017.
