Ryan Smith has a strong background in treasury and finance, with current experience at The D. E. Shaw Group in Portfolio Finance since October 2019. Ryan also held positions in risk control and regulatory management operations at Barclays, contributing to significant projects such as Recovery & Resolution Plans and collateral management systems. Earlier roles include legal and operational positions at Harter Secrest & Emery LLP, JD Spicer Zeb Solicitors, and the NYS Supreme Court, alongside community engagement efforts at Bucknell University. Ryan holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management/Finance and Pre-Law from Bucknell University and has also studied Pre-Law at Boston University.
